Gallery owner Alain Margaron presents in his space at rue du Perche, in the heart of the Marais, a moving exhibition of works by Michel Macréau. Margaron has been promoting the unclassifiable French artist since opening his gallery in 1993, and is now using the 20th anniversary of his death to ravish our eyes with some fifty, never before exhibited works from his most important period between 1958 and 1975. The galerie Malingue presents an exciting exhibition pertaining to the first ten years (1888-1898) of the career of painter Maurice Denis (1870-1943). It was during this time of apprenticeship that the theorist and spokesman of the Nabi group – which counts among its prominent members Pierre Bonnard, Edouard Vuillard and Paul Sérusier – developed the main themes of his career.
